Terms of Service
How we work, what you pay for, and who owns what.
Who we are
Houdini Digital is a digital marketing agency based in Karachi, Pakistan. These terms cover your use of houdini.digital and any work we do for you. By sending us an enquiry or engaging us for work, you agree to them.
Scope and price in writing
Every job starts with a written scope and a price. Nothing is started on a verbal agreement. If the work you need changes, we agree the change in writing before we do it.
Payment
We work paid in advance. The first month, or the first stage of a project, is due on signing, and work starts once that payment clears. We do not start work on credit and we do not do unpaid trial work.
Advertising budgets
Money spent on ads is paid to the platform, such as Google or Meta, and is separate from our fees. The platforms decide how and when ads are shown. We work to improve results, but no one can guarantee a specific number of clicks, leads or sales from paid advertising.
Access to your accounts
- Only what you grant. When we manage your advertising, including through the Google Ads API, we only access the accounts you have given us access to, and only to carry out work you have approved.
- You stay the owner. Your ad accounts, pages, website and data remain yours. We never take ownership of an account we manage for you.
- You can revoke it. You can remove our access at any time from the platform itself. When an engagement ends, we hand back or remove access on request.
- Your data is not resold. Anything we see inside your accounts is used only to do your work. It is never sold or shared with anyone outside the work. See our Privacy Policy.
Who owns the work
Once a project is paid in full, the finished work we made for you is yours to use. Until then it remains ours. Third party material, such as licensed fonts, stock images or music, stays under its own licence.
This website
The text, images and video on houdini.digital belong to Houdini Digital unless marked otherwise. Please do not copy them without asking. Concept and visualisation work shown on this site is labelled as such.
Limits
Our responsibility for any piece of work is limited to the fees you paid us for that work. We are not responsible for losses caused by platform outages, account suspensions by a platform, or changes a platform makes to its own rules.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi have jurisdiction.
Changes
If these terms change we update the date below. We do not backdate them. Work already agreed in writing continues on the terms it was agreed under.
