A building is sold before it exists. The buyer sees the render first, then the walkthrough, then the payment plan. If the render looks cheap, the whole project looks risky. Houdini Digital is a 3D rendering company in Pakistan that makes these visuals in house, at our office at 37-C, Commercial Market A, DHA Phase II, Karachi. We take on projects in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and other cities. Clients outside Karachi work with us remotely, and site visits or shoots are arranged on location when needed.
The same team also runs marketing, so the renders can go straight into the brochure, the hoardings, the project page and the ads. You can take the renders on their own, or the whole launch. See real estate marketing.
What we render
Exterior renders
The building in its real setting, from street level and from the air. Elevations, entrances, landscaping, and masterplans for a whole scheme. Day, dusk and night versions, so one view works on a hoarding, in a brochure and on Instagram. See architectural visualisation.
Interior renders
Apartments, villas, lobbies, offices, shops and restaurants, furnished and lit. Each unit type can have its own palette, so buyers can tell a two bed from a four bed at a glance. Interior designers use them to win a client's approval before any work starts on site. See interior visualisation.
3D walkthroughs and flythrough films
A camera that moves through the finished project. The approach, the gate, the lobby, the lifts, the amenity floors and the units. Flythroughs show the scheme from above, with the roads and landmarks around it. Long cuts for the sales office screen and YouTube, short cuts for reels and ads, and voiceover in Urdu or English. See 3D walkthroughs.
CGI product renders
Your product built in 3D to its real size, wearing its real print file, then lit and filmed in any setting. Useful when the pack is not printed yet, or when a studio shoot would cost more than it returns. See the CGI product films.
Renders that match the building
A render is a promise to the buyer. If the finished building looks different, trust is lost and the next launch is harder. So we build from your drawings, match the materials you have chosen, and ask about anything the drawings do not show before we fill the gap ourselves. Light and setting follow the real site where we can, so the view from the balcony is close to what the buyer will see.
Each render is also planned for where it will appear. A hoarding needs a bold view that reads from the road. A brochure needs detail. An Instagram post needs one clear idea in an upright frame. We choose the camera angles with these uses in mind, so one set of renders can carry the whole launch.
Who it is for
- Developers and builders. Towers, housing schemes, commercial plazas and villas in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and beyond. Renders for the launch, the brochure, the hoardings and the site office.
- Projects in DHA and Bahria Town. Houses, villas and commercial buildings, where buyers compare finishes and floor plans closely and want to see the street they will live on.
- Architects. Visuals for client presentations and pitches, built from your drawings and checked against them.
- Interior designers. Rooms shown furnished and lit before anything is ordered, so the client signs off on the look early.
- Agents and overseas buyers. Clear visuals for people who cannot visit the site in person.
- Product brands. Bottles, boxes, packs and products rendered for launches, stores and ads.
What you send us
- Architectural plans, sections and elevations, as CAD files or PDFs.
- Material choices. Tiles, stone, wood, paint colours, glass, cladding and fittings. Brand names or photos both work.
- Reference images of the look you want, and of any look you want to avoid.
- For interiors, the furniture layout and the style for each unit type.
- For a walkthrough, the route the camera should take and the spaces your buyer cares about most.
- For products, the print file, or clear photos with the real size.
If the drawings are not final, send what you have. We will tell you what is missing before any work starts.
How a project runs
- WhatsApp. Send the drawings or a short description to +92 323 2802832. We ask about the views you need, where they will be used and when the launch is planned.
- Written scope and price. You get the number of views, the films, the files and the price in writing, before anything is made.
- Model and camera angles. We build the 3D model from your drawings and send the camera angles for approval.
- Drafts. Draft renders with materials and light in place. You mark what to change.
- Revisions. Changes follow your comments, as agreed in the written scope.
- Final files. Full quality files in a shared folder, yours to use anywhere.
What you get
- Still renders as high resolution JPG or PNG files, sized for print, hoardings and brochures, plus lighter copies for the web and social media. The exact sizes are set in the scope to match where each image will be used.
- Walkthroughs and flythroughs as 1080p MP4 files. Wide for YouTube, the website and the sales office screen. Upright for reels and stories.
- Short cuts of each film for ads, with no music laid on that could get an ad pulled.
- Every file is yours, for brochures, ads, hoardings and listings.
Work you can see on this site
Everything below is already public on houdini.digital. Look at it before you message us.
- Real estate films. A project film that moves through the aerial view, the exterior, the lobby, the parking, the amenities and the unit interiors, and a concept film cut in the order a buyer decides. See the real estate page.
- CGI product films. Boxes for our sister brand, Houdini Perfumes, built in 3D from the real print files and filmed in worlds made in 3D. See the CGI films and the Houdini Perfumes case study.
- Product renders. A campaign render for Murshid Fragrances, a heritage attar and oud line. See the selected work.
Price
Every project is priced on its own scope, because one exterior view and a full walkthrough of a housing scheme are very different jobs. Message us on WhatsApp, and after the chat you get a written scope and price. Nothing is due before you agree.
Questions we get asked
How much does 3D rendering cost in Pakistan?
Each project is priced on its own scope: how many exterior and interior views, whether there is a walkthrough, and how complete the drawings are. Send the details on WhatsApp, and after a short chat you get a written scope and price. Nothing is due before you agree.
What do you need to start an architectural render?
Plans, sections and elevations as CAD files or PDFs, your material choices, and a few reference images of the look you want. If the drawings are not final, send what you have and we will tell you what is missing.
Do you make 3D walkthroughs and flythrough films?
Yes. Walkthroughs move through the finished building, from the gate to the units. Flythroughs show the whole scheme from above, with the roads around it. Both come as long cuts for the sales office and YouTube, and short cuts for reels and ads.
Do you work with developers outside Karachi?
Yes. Our only office is at 37-C, Commercial Market A, DHA Phase II, Karachi. Developers in Lahore, Islamabad and other cities send drawings and review drafts on WhatsApp, and site visits or shoots are arranged on location when a project needs them.
Can we ask for changes after the drafts?
Yes. You mark what to change on the drafts, and the changes are made against your comments. Everything included is set out in the written scope, so there are no surprises.
What files do we receive?
Still renders as high resolution JPG or PNG files, sized for where each one will be used, plus web copies. Films as 1080p MP4 files, wide for screens and upright for reels. Every file is yours.
Is the 3D work done in house?
Yes. The models, the renders and the films are made by our own team in Karachi. The same team can also run the launch campaign, so the visuals and the ads match.
Can you render a product that is not made yet?
Yes. We build it from the print file or drawings, to its real size, so you can see the finished product and use the renders before the first batch arrives.
